Mug Bread

Originally called keto mug bread

If you’re looking for a quick fix of “bread” then this is the recipe for you! It’s soft and pillowy (please note that this point that I have a tendency to make up my own words) and doesn’t taste eggy and it really takes about 2 minutes to make. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 table spoons almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 table spoon butter
  • 2 egg whites

I’ve seen variations of this recipe so I plan on trying them all – will post here. 

Mix all the ingredients in a microwave safe mug and place in the microwave for 90 seconds. Cut in half and enjoy. Haven’t tried toasting these yet, will also post when I do and let you know how they turn out.
