Grilled CheeseGluten free, yummy and easy to make
Such a yummy treat to make when kick starting a (keto) diet.
1 large egg
1 Tbsp coconut flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp baking powder
2 pinches of sea salt
2 Tbsp of milk
Mix it all together in a bowl. I have a skillet pan – will have to invest in a new one soon – which makes the best griddle marks. Heat this up with some melted butter. Pour two “sandwich” size scoops of batter in the pan. Once it starts to bubble flip the one over and add cheese. Then place the other, cooked side down (should be brown), onto the cheese. Flip the whole thing once the one side seems cooked/cheese is melted.
Hmm just had a thought to add some caramelised onions (without sugar)… and some chili.. will have to do an update and post pics when I do.
